Russell Wilson is turning the page on his decade-long tenure as quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks.

“SEATTLE, I Love You. Forever Grateful,” Wilson tweeted Wednesday, adding his Seahawks number “3.”

On Tuesday, Wilson was traded to the Broncos in a blockbuster deal, just hours after Aaron Rodgers announced his decision to return to Green Bay.

Wilson’s tweet marks his first time speaking out since the trade that sent him to the AFC West, where the quarterback pool is deep and features Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert and Derek Carr.

The deal won’t become official until the NFL’s new calendar year starts on March 16.

Wilson’s wife Ciara shared his farewell tweet to her Instagram Stories with a white heart emoji. Her Instagram has been flooded with comments about her husband’s move to Denver since the news broke.

The couple made headlines last week after the Super Bowl champion surprised the Grammy-winning singer with a proposal (although they’re already married) while Ciara guest-hosted “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Before Wilson’s tweet to Seattle, he was pictured Wednesday for the first time post-trade with his agent Mark Rodgers. The two are all smiles while posing together in front of a private plane.
